This is one of the simplest Indian dals made with split petite yellow lentils. A tempering (tadka) of cumin seeds, mustard seeds, asafoetida and curry leaves makes this a flavorful & comforting dish!
I love this kit. The flavours are delicious and fragrant. I really enjoy preparing this dish also as the spices smell wonderful and it's easy to make. I like to freeze a couple of portions for my lunches. So versatile.
